About us ...

In January 2001 with the two of us we (Hans & Esther) moved out from The Netherlands to live and work in Hong Kong. Initially we lived in an apartment in a Mid Levels' sky scraper, called Beauty Court and enjoyed the sweet exotic live of Hong Kong.

In January 2002 Jop was born and we decided to move to Discovery Bay on Lantau Island. Later in May 2004 our family expanded further with Simi's arrival. Only 4 months later we moved back to The Netherlands after almost 4 years stay in the Far East. And frankly spoken, we thought that would be indefinite. But surpise, surprise ...

In April 2006 we came back to Hong Kong and this time moved into a very nice house in Hong Lok Yuen, in the New Territories. Here we hope to enjoy our lives for the next couple of years.

By end of July 2006 we even sold off our house in Helmond, Netherlands. Which frees up all future options for where to live on our next return ...
